If you park the Peugeot 3008 next to its direct competitors VW Tiguan, Ford Kuga, Renault Kadjar and Nissan Qashqai, you can see the successful French design. And if you open your eyes inside, your heart will open. The good style continues behind the four doors of the 3008, which shares the platform with the Grandland X of the new group brand Opel. If you look at the elegant array of switches on the center console, the smart, felt-like fabric on the door panels or the chic black seat leather, you feel like a person of good taste who has chosen exactly the right product with a sense of style. In terms of space and everyday use, the 4.45 meter long Peugeot 3008 offers what you would expect in the 4.50 meter class of SUVs - but not much more.
The weaknesses are clearly in the minority in the Peugeot SUV: The steering wheel can slightly cover the lower part of the cockpit screen, depending on the seating and steering position. The cruise control lever is completely covered by the valance. In addition, setting the temperature in two steps via the menu and changing the volume by pressing the touchscreen are suboptimal.
