This new Renault Austral 2022 will also be the replacement for the Renault Kadjar , the SUV currently marketed in the compact SUV segment. This new Renault Austral will be presented in spring 2022 and will be launched a little later. Two new variants are to come later. One of them will be a seven-seater version and the second body will be a coupe SUV. These three cars will be manufactured in Palencia and are all expected to be unveiled in 2022, although the full range could arrive a bit later (it was initially said it would stretch to 2024).
This new Renault Austral is also one of the cars that Renault has allocated to the Palencia plant after the Renault Group's 2021-2024 industrial plan was announced last March by new President Luca de Piss. In addition, this new Renault Austral SUV will produce three derivative cars. The first is this 4.51 meter mid-size SUV that replaces the Kadjar.
